Ramadan in Vietnam

We will post on this blog a list of article for each country where we know Muslims celebrate Ramadan. I am starting with Vietman. Are you surprised? Me too if you asked me less than 7 days ago.

After last Friday's Prayers, I talked to a person who looked asian. We exchanged hellos, and I asked him where he was from. He said he was from Vietnam. I asked if there were a muslim community in Vietnam. I was surprised to learn that there are around 7 million muslims in Vietnam. That is half the number of Jews in the entire world.

If I see him next time, I will ask him if he can share few words here on this blog. I also thought that there might be readers who know about Muslims and Islam in Vietnam could can share it here.
